Miss Universe Top 10 favorites according to fan votes

The 72nd annual Miss Universe is weeks away. To get people excited and learning about the contestants, the organization has released a fan ranking of the top 10 contestants. The women were shared in no particular order, but included four Latinas from Chile, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Puerto Rico.

Miss Universe 2023 is taking place this November 28th in El Salvador. 90 contestants will participate for the title of Miss Universe, where, at the end of the evening, the current Miss Universe R’Bonney Gabriel will crown her new successor. The program will be screened on the Roku channel and in Telemundo.

Celeste Viel, Miss Chile

Celeste Viel Caballero is a 23 year old Chilean model and health coach. Interestingly enough, her mother was crowned Miss Chile 30 years ago.

Melissa Flores, Miss Mexico

Melissa Flores was crowned as Mexicana Universal and will represent her country in the Miss Universe pageant. She’s 25 years old and is a psychologist.

Sheynnis Palacios, Miss Nicaragua

Sheynnis Palacios, is from Managua, Nicaragua, and is 23 years old. She graduated with a communications degree in the University of Centroamerica.

Karla Guilfú Acevedo

Karla Guilfú Acevedo is 25 years old and was born in Villa Pesquera, Puerto Rico. According to the Metro journal in Puerto Rico, Acevedo has previous pageant experience, winning Miss Supranational Puerto Rico 2021.

Diane Leyre, Miss Francia

Diane Leyre is 26 years old and was born in Paris, France. She’s previously won two pageant titled, including Miss Île-de-France 2021 and Miss Francia 2022.

Endi Demneri, Miss Albania

Endi Demneri is 24 years old and represents Albania. Before representing her country, Demneri was a model for brands like Dolce & Gabbana, participating in events like Milan Fashion Week.

Michelle Dee, Miss Philippines

28 year old Michelle Dee is the representative of the Philippines. She’s one of the most famous faces in the country, working as an actress, model, and TV host.

Amara Bo, Miss Myanmar

26 year old Amara Bo represents the country of Myanmar.

Anntonia Porsild, Miss Thailand

Anntonia Porsild, 26 years old, is the representative of Thailand. She has two nationalities, with her mother being Thai and her father being Danish.

Maya Aboul Hosn, Miss Líbano

25 year old Maya Aboul Hosn represents Lebanon. She’s a model, influencer, and TV host. She studied radio and TV, and has a career in beauty pageants, and TV programs, like Morning Talk.
